PromoSlam is the annual Max Wrestling Podcast special which takes place in August, the weekend of WWE's SummerSlam.

PromoSlam is shrouded in dark memories for Max Wrestling. The first under the chronology marked the end of Evan "Money" Makeba's run as a regular part of the team, and also a controversial appearance by Jonny Ferrari - which prompted a portion of the show to be cut and re-structured as Kinny Killa could not continue.

 

PromoSlam 2 marked the final special appearance of The Phoenix, as he took time off after the event, returned before Promo Series 2, but never appeared at that event and subsequently left Max Wrestling. He made the first of sporadic appearances at PromoMania III - winning the first Iron Bank Contract.

PromoSlam 3 was the first special to not feature any guests. The Knowledge Championship was also not defended for the first time since its inception.

The bad luck seemed to run out in 2019 as PromoSlam 4 had no issues and hosted the first ever fatal-4-way for the Promo Championship.
