Promo Series is the annual Max Wrestling Podcast special which takes place in November, the weekend of WWE's Survivor Series.

Promo Series 2 was the first special to receive its own subtitle, "Sudden Death." It also introduced a new format exclusively for Promo Series, in that the Knowledge Championship is defended right from the outset in a winner-stays-on gauntlet.​

Promo Series 3 introduced a new version of the Promo Championship in the final of the first Promo Climax tournament.

As of 2020, Promo Series features the winners of the inaugural PromoBowl 

challenging for the Promo Championship
