Podcast Promo Rumble 6 was the thirtieth Max Wrestling Podcast special, and sixth under the Podcast Promo Rumble chronology. It was hosted by "The Captain" Dazzy Dangerously and featured regulars Mike Larkin, Moses Marquez and Travis Anderson plus special guests The Phoenix, Alex Doriot and Ella Jay, with special appearances from "The Kingpin" Emir Costello, Cypher and Daniel Crimmins.

This event marked thirty Max Wrestling specials since 2015, The Knowledge Championship was defended with classic rules where The Phoenix fought Alex Doriot and Ell Jay to a three-way final.

As is tradition, The Promo Champion could select their own challenger, Moses selected to face The Phoenix in a rematch following their draw at The Maxies Awards. And the Predictions Championship will be determined via WWE Royal Rumble.

It also marked the first defence of the new Max Wrestling World Championship, introduced on the 300th episode.

As matches were already made for PromoMania VI well in advance, the Promo Title match carried big implications - as The Phoenix became Promo Champion and Dazzy retained the World Championship, their bout at PromoMania became Title for Title. The Phoenix's win also meant he became the second person to hold both the Knowledge and Promo Championships at the same time.

Travis Anderson also announced he will be taking a hiatus from the show due to his wife about to give birth.

In a surprise video, "The Kingpin" Emir Costello returned to call The Demoness out of her hiatus to face him at PromoMania VI.

Following the Knowledge Championship bout, Larkin announced he would cash in his Iron Bank contract against The Phoenix at PromoMania, while Dazzy responded to the challenge from Daniel Crimmins on the Pre-Launch Show
