PromoMania III was the sixteenth Max Wrestling Podcast special, and third under the PromoMania chronology, it was also the 150th episode of Max Wrestling Podcast. The event aired on April 7th, 2018 and was hosted by Dazzy Dangerously and The B******, and featured regular, Mike Larkin, with specials guests including Kinny Killa, Emir "Blackbane" Costello and the return of The Phoenix after five months.

In the highly-promoted main event of the show, Mike Larkin defeated Kinny Killa to regain the Knowledge Championship in a head-to-head challenge.
PromoMania III introduced the Iron Bank Contract, which was won by the returning Phoenix - guaranteeing him a shot at the Knowledge Championship any time he chooses until PromoMania IV next year. The winner was determined through a series of trivia challenges.
A promo was also featured by Evan Makeba - praising Max Wrestling's tenure where associated podcasts have ceased operating, and also his intent to one day make a full return.
The episode ran for 2 hours 18 minutes and drew 441+ views on Facebook, YouTube, Soundcloud, and PodOmatic. The following week's episode (#161: TNA Is Hiring) was the first to ever receive 1,000 views on Facebook (1,204 in total across all platforms.)
